"How to Make [Almost] Anything"
I learned how to make almost anything in a course labeled as so at the MIT Media Lab.
We started with the basics of computer-aided design and computer-controlled cutting, progressed to 3D scanning and printing, molding and casting, and electronics design and eventually touched on input and output devices, networking and communications and machine sewing!
Over the course I became comfortable jumping in and learning new building methods. I grew an appreciation for physical making, the patience of electrical engineers, and the importance of documentation (see mine from the class for more).
